“In my professional opinion, the changes we are proposing will result in a great golf course with eighteen high-quality holes including superior green complexes, improved routing and fewer, more appropriately positioned and designed bunkers. The course will be more interesting and fun to play, yet it will still retain its natural beauty and considerable challenges for players of all levels of ability.”

Overview

The Gunnamatta Course project involves substantive changes to the routing of the existing course and involves the construction of 18 new green complexes and alterations to the design, style and number of existing bunkers.  The Course Architect – Tom Doak – considers the changes will greatly enhance the course and more closely align its status, from a member perspective, with the Old and Moonah courses.
